How we earn revenue
Free Tablet Benefit is a free informational website. To keep our guides free for low-income readers, we may display third-party advertising on some pages. These ads are clearly distinct from editorial content and are not endorsements.
What we do not do
- We do not accept payment to claim a program is active when it is not.
- We do not list providers based on the size of an advertising payment.
- We do not write paid reviews that look like editorial coverage.
- We do not allow advertisers to alter, edit, or pre-approve our guides.
Affiliate links
At the time of publication, Free Tablet Benefit does not run an affiliate program for Lifeline providers or tablet manufacturers. If that changes in the future, any affiliate relationship will be clearly disclosed on the relevant page.
Sponsorships
If a digital inclusion nonprofit or grant program sponsors a specific guide, the sponsorship will be labeled at the top of the page along with a statement of editorial independence. Sponsors never review content before publication.
Editorial independence
Our editorial team makes all decisions about which programs we cover, how we describe eligibility, and which sources we cite. Advertising relationships have no influence on that process.
